After high fives and big smiles were exchanged the last day of recording this past Thursday at the Carport, everyone received a text that said this: “So, did Kelsey sing on “Lucky” cause we aren’t seeing a vocal track for her on this song?”
Not to fear, we had the final final-day of recording yesterday morning! We checked off the last X on “the chart.” The chart is a massive white piece of poster board that has every band-member’s to do list intersecting with all of the song titles. We can happily say we have all of our X’s in a row.. The Disaster is recorded, the Artwork being finalized, mixing in progress.. mastering at Abby Road?
Hopefully everything will be pressed and packaged and ready to go late April/early May.

Midnight.. just got home from the studio. Day 3 this week. And happy to say, we made some major progress. Not only in the music department, but in the walk down memory lane department as well. I think everyone has a good, sad, bully story from elementary or middle school that brings you back to nights spent nervously eating a pop tart thinking of what tomorrow could bring.
Turns out, Chris Grainger took care of business with his lunch box, my dad got on the bus and grabbed my bully by the shirt, and due to the failed school counselor the bully that bothered Russ got even more furious. Seems like we’ve all had our share. Davey was as tall as the teacher by third grade. I wonder if that helped?
Tomorrow is a big show for our band. We are excited to play in Nashville and play a lot of the new songs we have been working on. Incase you’re in nashville and would like to attend:
